दिल्ली के ब्लाइंड रिलीफ एसोसिएशन में लगाया मेडिकल कैंप !

एसजीटी विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा वर्ल्ड ओरल हेल्थ डे के उपलक्ष्य में एसजीटी विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा दिल्ली के ब्लाइंड रिलीफ एसोसिएशन में आज एक मेडिकल कैम्प का आयोजन किया गया। इसी कैंप फैकल्टी ऑफ डेंटल साइंसेज के असोशीएट डीन एण्ड प्रोफेसर और हेड डॉ शौर्य टंडन के दिशा निर्देश में लगाया गया था। 

डॉ शौर्य टंडन ने बताया कि वर्ल्ड ओरल हेल्थ मनाने के लिए एसजीटी यूनिवर्सिटी द्वारा आउटरीच कार्यक्रम किए जा रहे हैं, आज का कार्यक्रम भी इसी उपलक्ष्य में था। उन्होंने मौजूद लोगों को दांतों के बारे में हेल्थी टिप्स देते हुए कहा कि शरीर को स्वस्थ रखने में दांतों का स्वस्थ रहना बहुत आवश्यक है। क्योंकि ज्यादातर मामलों में मुंह से होकर ही किटाणु हमारे शरीर में प्रवेश करते हैं और हम बीमार पड़ते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि लोगों को दांतों के स्वास्थ्य और स्वच्छता सुविधाएँ मुहैया करने के लिए एक महीने से एसजीटी विश्वविद्यालय हेल्थ चेकअप कैंप आयोजित कर रहा है।

इस कैम्प के दौरान कुछ ऐसी फन एक्टिविटीज भी कारवाई गई जिसमें लोग मस्ती के साथ साथ दांतों  को स्वस्थ रखने व दांतों की देखभाल के तरीके भी सीखे। इस मौके पर दांतों से जुड़ी कुछ सामान्य बीमारियों के बारे में भी बताया गया। इसके साथ ही दांतों की देखभाल कैसे करनी है?, ब्रश करने की तकनीक क्या है, आदि के बारे में जानकारी दी गई।

 

डेंटल टीम का नेतृत्व डिपार्ट्मन्ट ऑफ पब्लिक हेल्थ डेंटिस्ट्री की सीनियर लेक्चरर डॉ सौरभ प्रियदर्शी व डिपार्ट्मन्ट ऑफ पीडोडोंटिक्स की पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट की छात्रा मानसी और तीन इन्टर्न, दीक्षा, लिवाक्षी, और लक्षव द्वारा किया गया और इस मौके पर 27 विद्यार्थियों के दांतों का इलाज किया गया।

 SGT University organizes a Medical Camp at the Blind Relief Association

Delhi; SGT University, today organized a medical camp at Blind Relief Association, Delhi. The camp was organized by the Faculty of Dental Sciences under the guidance of Dr. Shaurya Tandon, Associate Dean, Professor, and Head.

"Maintaining healthy teeth can help a person avoid contracting illnesses because, in most cases, bacteria and microbes enter our bodies through the mouth passageway and make us sick. SGT University has been conducting these camps regularly with the aim of helping marginalized people access dental health and hygiene facilities," said Dr. Shaurya Tandon. 

The dental team was composed of Dr. Surabhi Priyadarshi, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Manasi, a postgraduate student in the Department of Pedodontics, and three interns, Diksha, Liwakshi, and Lakshav. They treated 27 people during their visit there. 

Students, with the assistance of the dental team members, were made to practice proper tooth brushing techniques, which were demonstrated to them using a dentiform model.  Alongside the checkup, the attendees were given information on precautions and steps they could take to maintain their own dental health, as well as other fun and interactive activities.
